History is huge.
Most people don't have the time to work through a 700-page book, five archival collections, and twenty academic papers just to understand why one battle mattered.
We try to close that gap.
Our goal is to take complicated historical subjects and turn them into articles that are easier to read, easier to understand, and still interesting enough that you don't feel like you're reading a school textbook.
We Use AI — A Lot
A significant amount of the content published on Meebhomi is created with the assistance of artificial intelligence, particularly Google Gemini.
Gemini is one of the main writing tools we use.
It may help us develop article structures, rewrite material, organize information, explain complicated subjects, expand ideas, improve readability, and turn research into longer-form articles.
We're not going to pretend otherwise.
AI has changed online publishing incredibly fast. Ignoring that reality doesn't make much sense.
But AI has a weakness that matters enormously when you're writing about history.
It can be wrong. Very confidently wrong.
An AI system can mix up dates, commanders, military formations, casualty figures, quotations, operations, and even sources while making the final paragraph sound completely convincing.
Where possible, important historical claims should be checked against stronger sources such as books, archival material, official records, museums, academic publications, contemporary documents, and established historical references.
The writing may begin with AI. The historical record doesn't.
Our Connection With Quora
Quora is also an important part of how Meebhomi operates.
We regularly write and participate on Quora, particularly around questions involving history, warfare, World War II, politics, military strategy, and related subjects.
Sometimes an idea starts on Quora.
